Melanie Thompson and Helen Ottaway have been working across multiple arts disciplines all their professional lives. Ten years ago they collaborated on a major public arts project for the bishops Palace in Wells. www.palaceintrusions.org.uk
Now in this reunion the two artists celebrate the overlapping themes of their separate residences in Sri Lanka and Denmark.
Through film, sound installation, demonstration and conversation, they will share their experience of creating site specific work exploring among other things memory and loss.
Over an hour Melanie and Helen will take the audience on an immersive journey; a feast for the senses and the imagination.
After the success of 2 presentations in Somerset, they will be touring this event throughout 2018 and 2019 in UK and beyond.
